Brand Finance presents its new GIFT Annual report where analyses the value of intangibles in the world. This year the study carries out a specific study on the state of intangibles in Spain.

GIFT it is the only international study that reviews and analyses the report of the intangibles of the balances of all listed companies worldwide. More than 50,000 companies have been analysed, identifying the value of their strategic intangibles and their relationship with the value of their tangible assets and the value of their company. The way to assess and report these intangibles is key, not only for shareholders or investors, but to support strategic decision-making on the allocation of budgets, licenses, M&A, due diligence, transfer pricing or brand strategies.

Currently, about 55% of the value of the radical organisation in its key intangibles. However, when organisations try to identify this value in financial indicators or seek an action framework backed by international standards, we find that there is a gap between recognition of the value of intangibles and their practical application day by day. This study is an exceptional tool that gives many dilemma answers when it comes to managing a company.
