Brand Finance South Africa Forum 2022: South African Brands Driving the Economy

08 April 2022, 07:00–09:00 UK Time

Each year Brand Finance values over 5,000 of the world’s biggest brands. The top 50 most valuable and strongest South African brands have been published in the Brand Finance South Africa 50 report annually since 2013.

This year, we doubled the rankings. South Africa’s top 100 brands showcase resolve and resilience, and should be celebrated. As a nation with enormously strong potential, but a complex past, it is increasingly important that leading brands are recognised as the nation’s ambassadors for their enduring contributions to the wider African economy.

In conjunction with Brand Finance, Brand South Africa and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, we were joined by an audience of 80 delegates to honour South Africa’s 100 most valuable and strongest brands and their achievements.

The panel discussion included Editor of the Financial Mail, Rob Rose, Director of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at the JSE, Vuyo Lee, and Standard Bank Chief Brand & Marketing Officer, Thulani Sibeko.
