New Brand Finance data shows Britain's biggest brands returned to growth in 2026 for the first time in three years, adding GBP45.4 billion in value.
Key highlights include:
- Brand Finance UK 250 brands increase in value by 12% to GBP448.9 billion in 2026
- Rolls-Royce (Aerospace & Defence) becomes Britain's strongest brand, as the UK aerospace & defence sector grows 41% to GBP13.1 billion, adding GBP5.4 billion in value since 2022 - the sector's fastest rate of growth since 2012
- Shell marks a decade as Britain’s most valuable brand, its brand value increasing 16% to £39.5 billion in 2026
- Revolut is Britain's fastest-growing brand, its brand value more than tripling (+246%) to GBP5 billion, helping drive wider banking sector growth of 24%
- Jaguar leads the decline of automotive, one of the UK's weakest-performing sectors, with total sector brand value down 22% as Jaguar, MINI, Range Rover, Defender and Discovery all decline
- Consumer brands make up eight of the UK’s 10 strongest brands, and the most trusted brands increased in value by 15% in 2026, while the least trusted declined by 4%
