Os invitamos al evento de presentación del informe Brand Finance GIFT™ 2021, el informe más completo sobre la situación de los activos intangibles en España. Pilar Alonso, directora de valoración de Brand Finance España, con más de 20 años de experiencia en activos intangibles nos contará cómo ha afectado la pandemia a estos activos en España y, de la mano de Laurence Newel, director de Brand Finance Americas, completaremos con la visión de la importancia que toman en Latinoamérica.

Um año más, contaremos con la colaboración de Ángel Alloza, CEO de Corporate Excellence, que nos proporcionará la visión de la evolución de los intangibles en los últimos años.

Organizado en colaboración con Corporate Excellence  – Centre por Reputation Leadership, el seminario web online de 60 minutos incluirá una presentación de las principales conclusiones del informe GIFT™ 2021 a nivel internacional haciendo un zoom en las empresas y sectores españoles, seguido de un debate entre los ponentes invitados y una sesión interactiva de preguntas y respuestas.

El webinar tendrá lugar a las 16:00-17:00 pm (hora España) el próximo 14 de diciembre, y posteriormente estará disponible en el canal de YouTube de Brand Finance.

Ángel Alloza holds a degree in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid, a PCD from IESE, a Master\'s Degree in Innovation in Communication from the Jaume I University and a PhD laude in Communication from the Jaume I University.

He began his professional career as a Qualitative and Quantitative Market Research Technician at Alef, Strategic Planning at J. Walter Thompson, and Managing Partner of Millward Brown International in Spain and Portugal. In 1998 he joined Argentaria in the Strategic Analysis Unit, within the Presidency and Risks Area with the aim of defining and implementing a new strategy and positioning for the Argentaria brand. In January 2000 he joined BBVA in the Communication and Image Area (now Communication and Brand) and was responsible for different functions (corporate advertising, image, social action, brand, identity, reputation, metrics). Until February 2011 he was Chief Strategy Officer of the BBVA Group\'s Global Communication and Brand area, with global responsibility for communication strategy, branding, reputation and metrics. Since April 2011 he is  Director  and Secretary General of  Corporate  Excellence  – Centre  for  Reputation  Leadership.

He is co-author of Atrapados por el consumo  and  Corporate Reputation;hehas written numerous articles in reference publications and is a collaborating professor of universities and business schools of recognized international prestige, he is also Honorary Professor at the University of Malaga.

He is  co-director  of The Global CCO program: strategic  management of reputation, brand and communication, reference program in communication,reputationand brand. He is also  a Board Member Academic and Research Director  of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management and directr  of The Global PR & Communications Model,a global roadmap to guide the future of the communication and intangible management profession.

Laurence is a brand specialist and a consolidated business developer with over 25 years of experience directing client engagements in brand-building disciplines encompassing valuation, strategy, corporate identity, and packaging across numerous sectors and markets. His expertise has been largely in Mexico and Latin America, and more recently, the US. He serves as the Non-Executive Director for the Americas Region of Brand Finance, the world’s leading independent brand valuation consultancy. Prior to joining Brand Finance, Laurence founded two independent brand design and strategy firms in Mexico, Brandia and Marca Capital, both of which today, boast double-digit growth and operate strong client portfolios. In his career, Laurence has serviced clients in banking and financial sectors, such as S&P Global, BBVA, CitiBanamex, Nexxus Capital, Banorte, and Bancolombia; leading retail brands such as Grupo Martí, La Europea, Calimax, Walmart, and Yale; and important players in sports and entertainment, including Cinepolis, Televisa Editorial, and Mexico’s National Soccer Team. Laurence is a frequent contributor on marketing and branding topics in media outlets such as Mexico’s leading daily Reforma, top business TV network El Financiero Bloomberg, and Colombia’s magazine and daily, La República. Laurence is a representative for Mexico before the ISO Technical Committee responsible for reviewing the creation of a transparent, reconcilable, and repeatable approach to brand valuation, ISO 10668 on Monetary Brand Valuation and participates in the US Marketing Accountability Standards Board (MASB), with Brand Finance.  Laurence holds an undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and a postgraduate degree from the University of Miami.

Pilar is currently specialises in business valuation, intangible assets valuation and Purchase Price Allocation (“PPA”) process for transactional, tax and financial reporting purposes.

Pilar has a wide knowledge of IFRS and Spanish GAAP.

Graduate in Economics and Law from the Universidad Carlos III (Madrid), she has a master in Intangible Assets Valuation from Instituto de Análisis de Intangibles (2009).

Co-author of the article “¿Es posible valorar con exactitud una ‘startup’?” (Cinco Días, 2018) and also in the chapter related to “The consideration” in “Memento of Transactions” (2014).

Pilar has been instructor on various in-house and external courses (training to tax inspectors included) on intangible assets valuation and Purchase Price Allocation.
