Pilar Alonso Ulloa, Managing Director Iberia (Spain, Portugal) and South America, with more than 20 years of experience in intangible assets, will share insights into the current situation of these assets in Spain, and Laurence Newell, Managing Director of Brand Finance North America, will join to share his thoughts of the importance of intangible assets in Latin America.

After 20 years working in the audit and consulting industry, Pilar joined Brand Finance in September 2021 to continue to keep her finger on the pulse of the evolution of intangible assets in different sectors of the economy, valuing businesses, companies and intangibles for transactional, tax and financial reporting purposes.
Her professional career as an auditor has provided her with extensive knowledge of international and local accounting regulations, which helps in making decisions and in responding to questions raised by regulatory bodies in relation to intangible assets.

Laurence is a brand specialist and consolidated marketing services business developer with 26+ years of experience directing client engagements in brand-building disciplines encompassing valuation, B2B and B2C research, strategy, corporate identity, and packaging across numerous sectors and markets. With experience throughout Latin American and North American markets, Laurence serves as Managing Director for the Americas Region of Brand Finance, the world’s leading brand valuation and strategy consultancy.
Laurence is a frequent contributor on marketing and branding topics in media outlets such as Bloomberg, and The Drum. Laurence is a representative for Mexico before the ISO Technical Committee responsible for reviewing the creation of a transparent, reconcilable, and repeatable approach to brand valuation, ISO 10668 on Monetary Brand Valuation, and participates in the US Marketing Accountability Standards Board (MASB), with Brand Finance.
Laurence holds an undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and a postgraduate degree from the University of Miami.
Ángel Alloza holds a degree in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid, a PCD from IESE, a Master\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Degree in Innovation in Communication from the Jaume I University and a PhD laude in Communication from the Jaume I University.
He began his professional career as a Qualitative and Quantitative Market Research Technician at Alef, Strategic Planning at J. Walter Thompson, and Managing Partner of Millward Brown International in Spain and Portugal. In 1998 he joined Argentaria in the Strategic Analysis Unit, within the Presidency and Risks Area with the aim of defining and implementing a new strategy and positioning for the Argentaria brand. In January 2000 he joined BBVA in the Communication and Image Area (now Communication and Brand) and was responsible for different functions (corporate advertising, image, social action, brand, identity, reputation, metrics). Until February 2011 he was Chief Strategy Officer of the BBVA Group\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Global Communication and Brand area, with global responsibility for communication strategy, branding, reputation and metrics. Since April 2011 he is Director and Secretary General of Corporate Excellence – Centre for Reputation Leadership.
He is co-author of Atrapados por el consumo and Corporate Reputation;hehas written numerous articles in reference publications and is a collaborating professor of universities and business schools of recognized international prestige, he is also Honorary Professor at the University of Malaga.
He is co-director of The Global CCO program: strategic management of reputation, brand and communication, reference program in communication,reputationand brand. He is also a Board Member Academic and Research Director of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management and directr of The Global PR & Communications Model,a global roadmap to guide the future of the communication and intangible management profession.
