Everyone is talking about a looming recession. The latest instalment of the Brand Finance Global Intangible Finance Tracker (GIFT™) reveals that the full impact has not hit the market yet, and might never. Global intangible value has grown year-on-year, demonstrating the resilience of intangible assets even in times of crisis.
Brand Finance has long advocated for more discussion, disclosure and development of intangible asset value. We invited delegates to join us to discuss the rising importance and value of intangible assets.
We were joined by high-profile speakers who provided insights into the future direction of travel for intangible asset reporting and the wide range of implications including transfer pricing.
We were pleased to partner with the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC), Mazars, Praxity, and the Institute for Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) to host the GIFT 2022 Forum. The event included a presentation of the GIFT™ 2022 report findings, as well as a panel discussion and an interactive Q&A session.
EffWorks is a reservoir of learning, research and debate established by the IPA and a host of industry partners. The ambition is to provide the marketing industry with resources and tools to change its culture. To realise the potential of truly accountable and effective marketing.
