Can CSR and Sustainability Impact Brand Performance and Equity?

24 May 2022, 17:30–19:00 UK Time

There is a consensus that consumers, workers, investors, and regulators consider sustainability when choosing between brands. There is little clarity about the extent of this effect, however.

How can we quantify the value of perceived sustainability? How important is sustainability when weighed against other factors such as cost, quality, or choice (in the case of consumers), salary and benefits (workers), or financial returns (investors)? How does this vary by sector and by geography? With rising inflation, can we expect sustainability’s relative importance to diminish?

HCL Technologies and Brand Finance held a panel discussion at the World Economic Forum in Davos to deliver cutting edge research and discuss this important topic and from a diversity of viewpoints.
