Marketing Leaders Forum Nigeria

01 June 2023, 08:30–12:30 UK Time

Powered by Brand Finance in association with Lagos Business School

Time: 08.30 WAT to 12.30 WAT

Background

For companies around the world, this is a remarkable period of uncertainty. Brand and marketing executives face several existential issues, including deteriorating macroeconomic conditions, increasing operational pressures, and complex worries about maximising marketing spend. The tension results in a decline in market share, constrained profit margins, and a drop in consumer brand loyalty. New brands joining the market confront even more significant challenges.

The first Marketing Leaders Forum Nigeria tackled these concerns by addressing the following:

1. What it takes to create iconic brands in a challenging setting.

2. How can brands prosper in Nigeria after the elections?

3. Consumer data and insights that influence brand performance in Nigeria.

Who is expected to join the forum?

Over the years, Brand Finance has assessed more than 5,000 of the most well-known brands in the world, and for the first time, Brand Finance ranks the top 50 strongest and most valuable Nigerian brands.

Other highlights included a keynote address by Idy Enang, President, NIMN, a presentation on consumer insights by Professor Uchenna Uzo, Marketing Professor of Lagos Business School, and a panel presentation by renowned experts.
