Brand Finance & IAA - Presentation of the Sustainability Perception Index

The more important environmental and social sustainability and governance (ESG) is perceived by consumers, the more it translates into real value for organisations.

Brand Finance's Sustainability Perceptions Index Report aims to support companies to improve the economic impact deriving from the perception of brand sustainability and to identify best practices and areas for improvement for each company. The report includes the ranking of the top 500 brands in the world delving into the financial value generated by perceived sustainability and the weight of sustainability among the purchasing drivers.

Brand Finance joined an event hosted by the International Advertising Association to share the insights of the inaugural Sustainability Perceptions Index Report, featuring guest speakers Massimo Pizzo, Managing Director Italy, Brand Finance, Marianna Ghirlanda, President at IAA Italy, and Giorgio Busnelli, Amazon's Director for FMCG Categories in Europe.

Massimo has over 25 years experience in branding. He began his career in advertising, then PR, then market research,Massimo joined Brand Finance in 2015 and has worked for some of the world’s leading brands such as TIM, Enel, Poste Italiane, Ferrari, Pirelli, IBM, Leonardo – formely know as Finmeccanica - and Italian Ministry of Economic Development.For three years Massimo lectured communications, first at SDA Bocconi then at University of Milan.
