e&’s transformation from a traditional telco to a global tech group has been remarkable. Maintaining a strong core business around its flagship telecom brand, Etisalat by e&, the group has been expanding both organically and inorganically.

Recent investments such as StarzPlay, Vodafone and Careem have strengthened the group by diversifying its products and services to maintain the relevance of the etisalat brand for consumers while also building the equity of the e& Masterbrand. It’s no surprise that e& has a brand in its portfolio that has emerged again as the Strongest Brand in the Middle East and Africa and the Strongest Telecoms Brand in the world.

This also means that e& has retained its ranking as the most valuable portfolio of TMT brands in the Middle East and Africa, with an increase of 15% on last year to a total brand value of 17 billion USD. e& as a standalone brand will also be recognized as the fastest growing technology brand in our Middle East ranking to be launched later this year.
